According to the spoilers that I've read so far no, he's not the father.
I don't know why ppl aren't talking about this but... Young Alpheas is EXACTLY the same as Shirone. Do someone that read the novel can confirm this? Is really crazy because he has the face of his father and the eyes of his mother.
