yes especially considering how the media treated her image and how misogynistic people can be about her, a female musician would’ve been far better. hearing about this kinda makes me wanna drop the series because i love amy winehouse but we’ll probably never see this chapter for another few years
Oof…. That’s actually very disappointing how the author treated Amy Winehouse, she is an amazing artist that deserves so much more, regardless of how the media portrayed her. She was misunderstood and I honestly think that it would’ve been perfect for her to be paired with a troubled female musician. It would’ve made perfect sense. A character like Nana, someone that’s similar to Amy in some regard. This series is really great, amazing even! But geez after seeing that spoiler, I’m getting the ick...

She and her ambitious, crazy young contractor (who uses his own blood to write a song after hitting his head against a wall out of frustration and even pull out his one tooth for vocal cord reason) constantly kiss each other/make out a lot.
I don't think it's a good idea to depict her like that.
