Yeah I mean he is a POS but he doesn’t hate Penelope and won’t just stand by while she’s poisoned I dislike him but I feel bad for him
He is a ass always has been but yeah he would be at leat a little concerned about her but just bc someone is concerned that they might be dying doesn't make them a good person

I feel bad for derek. I mean he's a jerk we all knew that but he's not someone who would not care for pen well being. I mean to some extent he does seems like he cared. I mean he's not the best but not the worst either. The brainwashing just makes him look even worse than he is now... well see how things goes. I don't like him but I don't think he's the worst so yeah..
