louise was forced to marry into the imperial family on imperial orders, if her family resisted they would’ve probably been tried for treason. and they didn’t stay silent, they planned for 10 years to organise a rebellion in the first life to get raen on the throne and get louise back but iirc she died from overwork before the rebellion happened. i agree they probably should’ve came to investigate since we saw her brother just waltz in to handle her scandal, but i think they wanted to keep themselves incognito cuz of the whole “im hiding the real crown prince in my house” thing lol
the second point is a real plothole, I have no other way to see it either. on the first point - I might be wrong about it and I'm not gonna try to reread the chapters, so do correct me, and also this will be a lot of me thinking more then the story explains - so - I thought that, after she was born as the first ever girl in the fire family, the imperial order that she is to be married into the royal family came imidiately- and I understood that as in 'the king, as he was still healthy when she was born, demanded that she will marry the first prince, probably whan she turns 7 or 10 or simething, and consumate the marriage and make a magic fire royal
child after she comes of age. then the king fell ill and then the first prince disappeared, and then the king died, but that didn't mean she was free of the imperial order, she was still meant to marry the second option. so even though the fire family had the first prince, injured and weak and with no influence as he was, putting him back in power imidiately just would've meant her future royal husband would've changed back. the same if they changed the rulers imidiately after the marriage, while she was still a child, cause no one would've had a problem remarrying her to the new king when the marriage hasn't been consumated- so they sent her to be married to the second prince, since she would've been safe until she came of age, and prepared the first prince and kept him safe to have him take the throne as an adult, when the decisions as king will be his alone and not the vassals or of some counsil's or anything likethat. so the kingly exchange, cuz it didn't gave to be some full blown violent revolution, would have to be between the time that she starts being considered adult enough to have an actual relationship with men and the time she came of age, that part being completely my imagination, around 15 to 18yo I would say, and get her forcefuly divorced from the second prince as he would be a wannabe usurperer, and claim the marriage was consumated already or something to make sure no-one will claim the royal order is still active. and then they just fucked up the timing and she died in the furst timeline or just left on her own accord the second time. I'm making this very complicated, I know, but here's my 3 a.m. thesis. enjoy

Like if her brother and father love her so much and they had the ML before she was married, what was the point in sending her to the brother and stepmother. Also if the dad and brother love the FL so much how were they just okay with not hearing from her for years… like why would they assume that she didn’t like them instead of considering something went wrong
