Exactly. Like her son is very incompetent and emotional. She set everything up for her son to be king but her son doesn't have the quality of a king. He's like king Joffrey from Game of Thrones

The empress thinks she will be around forever lol what will your son do once his mommy dies and he has no idea how to reign an empire? He won't live much longer either and a new puppet king controlled by another noble family will sit on the throne or worse a civil war will break out. But I guess she wouldn't care since she is long dead by then?
