Actually there are some people who likes these type of plot -_- I only read this because I read the Mangaka's other work Kurui Naku No Wa Boku No Ban.

I hear ya; have you ever tried reading Blood Bank or H&H Roman Company? Those are yaoi but the plots are interesting, and the character development in Blood Bank especially is really nice!

Lately i been noticing many yaoi mangas where everything is about sex and characters are used as sexual toys with zero emotions . It seem like yaoi artists nowadays are unable to create characters with emotions or meaningful relationships. Everyone fucks everybody and suddenly, oh don't worry, i love you. More and more i avoid reading new yaois and go back to older ones because, frankly, i cannot relate with the stories nowadays. So much casual and superficial sex and so little feelings and emotions. It's like reading about robots, not human beings.
