A while ago I read an amazing fan fiction that after a few years I found out was inspired by a manga- but it was never mentioned which one. The author wrote another story inspired by a manga, an older one from around 2010, so I suppose this one is also from around that time period. From what I remember, it was a story where one character has a huge phobia of speaking or words, they're very s*cidal and depressed, and the other guy was portrayed as a popular jock that likes to make fun of the other, but throughout the story, they begin to talk and fall in love. The fan fiction ends pretty sadly, I'm not sure if it's the actual ending of the manga but I doubt it (the first guy commits s*cide). I know it's not a lot to go off on, but the story was amazing and I cried a lot. (If it helps I remember a few more things like the 'jock' had a piercing, there was a moment where the first guy got amnesia after getting into an accident, and they started living together at some point. ALL OF THESE MAY BE DIFFERENT OR NOT PRESENT IN THE MANGA AND BE A PRODUCT OF THE AUTHOR'S IMAGINATION!!). If anyone has ANY suggestions, please tell me, I'm desperate at this point. :(
