In the novel it's even more satisfying... cuz it's more clear that Victor also think he treats the twins as more of siblings than them and sides with Ruby and Virgo gets kinda shocked he thinks so too... AND she practically expuslses him from her room and slams the door on him telling him to 1- not look for her except for something important and 2- to not get in without knocking. The mocking felt on another level in the novel...
