I think that was the point? He’s going crazy over his obsession and justifying himself by saying he’s on Ophelia’s side and only wants her survival. The loose messy long hair plays in making him look more crazy. (Not to mention those flowers that r probably making him delusional) Is what I think
Is it me or the art changed a lot? Like was it planned to make Kersten look like a baby when he remembered his past lives? Honestly I liked him better before (with his hair tied up he was really handsome) he was a misterious character who admired ophelia but now I think he became crazy because if his power mixed with his obsession (i'm not trying to justify him i'm just trying to understand the character)
