I agree and disagree. The main character does deeply assess appearances because of harsh treatment from the past, but how does it reflect on her attitude towards them? If someone's a "6" and someone else is a "9" does she treat the "9" better and the "6" worse? No. EVERYONE judges others on their appearance. Whether it's minor or major, it happens regardless. But that judgment isn't always necessarily bad. It's what you do with that judgment that really defines your who you are as a character.

Let's be honest, the lead herself is a hypocrite. She's a victim of mental & physical abuse because of her looks and yet she judges everyone she meets instantly on their looks. The guy nailed it when he said it was her personality she needed to change. I understand that years of abuse can do wonders to a person's mentality and perhaps that's why she ended up the way she is. Hopefully she can forget who she used to be and find new confidence in who she wants to be.
