Well I was told that, actually it was the first try author made of this story, and inspired him to creat 12 Beast.
It's not exactly a prequel of the story itself but it is kind of like it's prequel in therm of story development (I'm not sure ifI am clear sorry)

Guy's character is a bit different, wellall of protags of Okayado's works look painfully plain. Even the harpy's name is the same... Some designs of ladies also repeat (except Centorea-like girl, she was switched to minotaur smith girl i think)
Kinda good he reused his old ideas, but also kinda lazy...
