Maybe it’s just me but tbh I’m still fw (ML) him. Both Mc & Ml are the tsundere type one is just a brat and the other is more of a dom that has a slight inclination to humiliation/shame for submission. They both tend to bend to each other here and there, but atm I don’t think either party is wrong.
ML is an incubus at the end of the day though I think he’s more territorial than possessive. He never really tries to monopolize Yusa and is typically ready to compromise as he grumbles due to interest. If I got murked and had to lay low for Xxxx amount of years bc I got my name spoken, come back, find a human I’m obviously enthralled by to a degree and then a small fry continues to wedge itself in my affairs after I checked them (it’s giving if I can’t have Yusa no one can)… I would feel a way too. Though he still did not force Yusa to do anything — he let him know where his mind was at and that the regardless the decision is Yusa’s being that Yusa has the upper hand atm.
And for Yusa I can understand how it’s conflicting when you finally feel safe to be fussy or spoiled because you’re understood for once instead of limiting yourself for the protection of others or fear of being ostracized. Catch feelings, then a seed of doubt is sown bc the cat & mouse game you play with your FWB included never actually being transparent with your feelings or wants on top of it coming from a fellow demon who would understand your crushes logic theoretically better than you. Yusa was already thinking even if ML was playing him he wouldn’t mind so why would I want to admit something so serious and fuck up what I’m getting? ESP when Ik my friend can’t beat my crush anyway so it’s really up to me?
Like I said I’m not really mad at either party for trying to have their own best interest prioritized when they are both clearly unsure. Plus I think they are both enjoyably kinky with each other whether they are aware of it or not. I’m anticipating where this goes !
