With the "smut" genre according to mangago and the cover page being what appears to be a cumshot, it's difficult not to call this manga smut. Just because it's smut doesn't mean it's not appreciated.

Yes. Smut is a tag, but that's all it is on mangago and other sites. It came into use and is now a standard. It's nothing to be complained about. it's not the same thing as individuals continually blah blah blahing about how this is nothing but porn, smut, and their "fapping material." This manga was placed into the smut genre for a clear reason. Half of it consists of a very erotic sex scene. From the cover and sex scene I get the impression the mangaka wanted to make this one shot arousing. If people want to fap to the arousing content then the mangaka is doing a good job. There's people that love the story because it's that way. Yaoi was originally created as a smutty genre. It's not usual for people to read smutty yaoi for arousal. You see this as way more than smut, good for you. But that doesn't mean people who read this for the smut don't appreciate the mangaka's work as well.
