I'm honestly tired of seeing stories that use miscommunication to make the plot move on. It's always the MC misinterpreting something and other not wanting to clarify their words and in return misinterpret what MC says. And even if asked a random question, they don't even go "Huh?" Because fuck! Some questions get you to raise some eyebrows and consider what the fuck you said for them to ask that!!!
But man this one here, this one here sounds like somebody went through it. Misscomunication is one of the first things that let a couple break up. It's always little things here and there someone wants to say but doesn't or someone hears it but chooses to ignore them, eventually building up until one explodes and the relationship is not salvageable. This my guys, is a believable couple taken from the reality of a lot of couples (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
And you can see here that both have the blame on it. Lombardi didn't pay attention to small things J.J. was interested in and eventually led him to neglect his partner in their relationship. First chapter reflects all that and even J.J. seems mad about it. Lombardi is an idiot (in love) and he is also egocentric and prideful. Y'all can even see J.J. is tired of his behaviour too (NGL if I was him I would've dumped Leo too xD). But what was his solution to the problem? Not only break up, but hoping that by breaking up Leo realise his fucks ups, change and apologise. That fucking blew on his face so fast.
Tbh. I don't want them to end up back together. And I hope Leo realises that keeping a "fuck buddies" relationship with him is going to torn him apart quicker than what he will realize. Ofc J.J. is already not giving a single shit about him but honestly, why accept the deal if you knew he would not change???(๑•ㅂ•)و
Also ew nasty SA scene of J.J. basically forcing himself upon Leo. It was so fucking awkward to read and it disgusted me so much. Like, even though Leo had offered him the deal of being is fuck buddy... Forcing himself upon him? Being so rough on it? IGNORING LEO WHEN HE SAID TO STOP???? NAH MAN YOU'RE DISGUSTING.
I get both aren't pure angels and they got their flaws. But J.J. ended up being fucking worse than a neglectful egotistical idiot like Leo. ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
