I didn't quite like the first story because the uke's reactions seemed a little bit off. I know I'm reading a work of fiction, but I like it when the characters have more real-ish reactions or there is some attempt of resistance to situations that normal humans try to fight or run away from. The second one was going better, but then BAM, in the first chapter and their apparent second day together they confess their undying love for each other. I also hate when the prince has to give everything up because the uke's just doesn't want to try and starts everything with a defeatist attitude. The other thing that bothered me was Charles taking revenge for a princess that wasn't moping around for a broken engagement (she told the prince everything and she was in love with Charles). Why would you even do that?
