You can say you adore your significant other but adore just means you love and respect someone wholly. So yes, it can be in a romantic sense but not always. In this case I think the secretary does have romantic feelings for Jian but maybe his respect is holding him back? Or maybe he adores him too much to go further? I guess we’ll have to wait and see how it all unfolds since there hasn’t been much interaction between the two thus far! Sorry if this doesn’t make sense but I hope it helped <3
Yess after reading the english version that's what i understood but in the spanish one it was more like master vs servant who lust for each other... arrrr i hope we find out more in the next chapters
Im so confused with the dialogue between the secretary and jian, came here after reading the spanish official translation and it doesn't say quite the same as the english one. In the spanish secretary jin says: 'just to make it clear, even though you took care of me i have never agreed to have sex with you' and later on jian replies: 'you say you want me to take care of you but you refuse to fuck me, then why you look at me with lust in your eyes?' So now it says here adore instead of taking care wich could be interpreted as helping/protecting him in life, but adore?? That's a romantic meaning, what is the truthhh between those two?? Some angel please clarify
