People can't seem to read this critically and how the themes of romanticization of youth, growing up, growing up too fast or too slow, what kind of role adults play in that, how difficult the transition is between adulthood and childhood are presented here and how SA is a factor in that that should be addressed. It's not played for laughs and is woven into the plot also later with other characters without being gratuitous.
It is not endorsing pedophilia. Fan "troll" Translations like ch 13 make it even worse bc there seem to be genuinely be people who think that is a proper translation.
I heard people crying pedophilia up the hill tops so I almost dropped this, but ended up finishing it anyways cuz I was already halfway thru.
The "weird stuff" people are talking about is done and started by the bad guys in the story, as in people u shouldn't be rooting for.
People can be uncomfortable with whatever they want but spreading misinformation is a big no no in my book.
For those willing to read it: it's very weird, read it at your own risk, but it's definitely not pedophilia, the sus parts are all done by the villains and are made to make u uncomfortable.
I thought it'd be better to do this than have people pass up on a story they might enjoy bc of misinformation.
Read at ur own risk, I find it a fun read, you might not. Toodles.
