It's very sad actually because if it wasn't for Rania's body being exchanged for another soul, she really is a very good daughter and could live happily together with the family she has been looking forward to for so long ╥﹏╥

Ludville's mother and the duke’s first wife was a gypsy named Anna. She was part of the cult of Eva Gyo that swap people's souls and steals their bodies. The cult has been trying to infiltrate the dukedoms for many years, so they sent Anna to marry Duque Sorvel. The plan was to have a child and then trade his soul for a cult member, but Ludville as the first son had divine protection and they could not steal his body. In the end Anna fell in love with the duke and loved Ludville very much, so she had no intention of harming them or letting the cult steal their bodies.
When Anna realized that she was pregnant with her second child, she knew that the cult was going to try to take over the child's body and fled to protect the family. Unfortunately, Anna and Rania could not escape the cult forever and they were killed, a member of the cult stole Rania's body and did what someone else mentioned in other spoilers.
Rania was murdered only 3 years before the beginning of the story, if she had been able to hide for a little longer maybe she could have been saved and be the older sister to Camila and Ravi that she wanted to be :(.
Camilla didn’t tell the Duke about Anna's identity. He was already devastated for what happened to Rania and Camila didn’t want to hurt him further by telling him the reasons why the ex-duchess approached him.
