I'm sorry to say I do not have a link. I read it on WebNovel the app you can kind of read it for free but it's probably going to take you a while. I also got it on Kindle which that's honestly probably the cheaper way to go in the fastest because it is done.

So from where we're at in the story this is all kind of a long ways off but at the end of this campaign Maxi actually kind of becomes the hero and saved everybody and ends the war. The problem is she kind of gets really hurt or basically she has a miscarriage but nobody knew she was pregnant not even her and so she loses a lot a lot of blood this upsets Riftan so much he sends her back early but not home to the Royal Palace with the princess.
There she is recovering well but she's under the impression that he sent her away because he doesn't want her anymore and her father shows up at the Royal Palace pretty much telling her no he doesn't want her he's going to divorce her. He's mad at her for being like her mother and having a miscarriage he thinks it ruined their family name. So traumatized by all of this she goes home with her father. She's there for I think couple months and she basically loses all appetite she's starving herself but her father has his someone keep healing her so she stays alive not caring about her actual Health. What she doesn't know is that Riftan has shown up at her father's Castle several times to see her. She thinks she was abandoned by Riftan, he is under a misunderstanding that she went home with her father because she wants a divorce and again her father is telling him this.
He keeps trying to see her so he can just say goodbye cuz he feels so bad he doesn't want to fight it. Well then Maxi finds out that Riftan's outside the castle so she tries to sneak out of her room because this whole time she's also locked up in her room, her father won't let her leave and doesn't tell her that he keeps coming to see her. She sneaks out of her room to try and just get one last look at him from afar.
Well she gets caught and goes into this room of mirrors where I guess her daily beatings with father used to happen all the time. Well she's in the middle of a severe beating and bleeding all over. Riftan walks into the room and catches her father doing this to her. He is so mad and so upset that he beats her father almost to death, and the whole time that he's beating up her father Ruth is there healing her.
So Riftan then Scoops up Maxi, they try to hurry and leave her father's territory. They get to a inn and he starts cleaning the blood off her and starts asking her a lot of questions about her childhood. Riftan always thought she had an amazing life but she's upset that she has to talk about it. She does and she tells him how awful it was and that makes Riftan so mad that he wants to go to war with her father it doesn't happen for reasons things happen.
I'm missing some pieces here and there and that's not necessarily the end of the novel but that's kind of all I have time for right now cuz I'm at work you can ask more questions and I will try and answer them the best I can. (=・ω・=)

I love talking about this story if I find somebody to talk about it with LOL.(⌒▽⌒) I'm just glad I got a quiet moment at work so I can write it out. It really is a good part of the story. I hated the dad so much after all of this. It's kind of hard to believe you could hate the dad even more. （￣へ￣）

Part of the reason that being....... Riftan decided not to tell Maxi she had a miscarriage, because she was unconscious for several days to a week. She almost died from the blood loss that's why Riftan was so freaked out and upset. So he swore everybody to secrecy but she was not to know that she had a miscarriage cuz he was worried about her Mental Health.
Well then when she went to the Royal Palace and her father met her, he was saying his normal nasty things. Then he told her about the miscarriage in a very cruel way and that's where Maxi got the misunderstanding Riftan sent her away cuz she failed as a wife. She's kind of thinking it before that but this really set in stone for her. It was horrible but because after the beating she has to have an honest conversation with him and clear up some misunderstanding and get closer after that. So much other stuff happens after that cuz of what Riftan did to her father, the beating.
Does he suffer from the consequences like he has to go to war or sth?

So no he doesn't really have to go to war. There's a volume two this and you find out a lot of stuff happens to him in that. For volume one Riftan's trying to go to war with him, but the royal family and Maxi sister step in and request that he doesn't. So her father tries to take him to court and basically tries to sue Riftan to get his land, everything he owns, for what he did. Riftan left him physically mutilated in the face. Like his jaw never works right again. He can't talk right anymore and you find out in volume two that he tries to send assassins to kill Riftan, and is never unsuccessful. He basically never forgives Riftan and Maxi for the beating and leaving him up mutilated. So throughout volume two you hear now and then things he tries to do to make their lives miserable, but you don't hear a whole lot about him though.
