Not disagreeing about the rape part but I think Courtney saying "I" lost control wasn't like her thinking she was at fault or anything.....it was more like she was controlling the situation (as in Dom) but then her control was taken away from her(as in Richard took control) that's y she was saying things like she underestimated Richard and this time she is gonna make sure she is in control the whole time
the whole point of a sub/dom relationship though is consent and the each person is deriving pleasure. Richard likes being punished because it brings him pleasure in the same way that Courtney likes punishing him. It is not Courtney's responsibility to make sure he doesn't r*pe her by being a better dom. The fact that she says she "underestimated" him is already so flawed. They had set expectations of what was expected of each other and Richard just decided to flip the roles without any confirmation or consent from Courtney
