The thought process and actions of the characters were a bit confusing at times, but overall it was a nice and unexpectedly wholesome read.
Slightly more detailed review: Don’t be scared off by the genre, this doesn’t have any heavy angst(only a bit of mostly skipped or offscreen kidnapping and past trauma about family death), and there’s also no rape! (always scared of that in these types of manhwas) there’s only the expected bloody beatings (mostly by the ML to minor antagonists) and other stuff you would except from yakuzas, but those scenes don’t even appear after around chapter 20 anymore.
Most importantly the ML is a green flag, occasionally a bit red but that’s also only in the beginning. In conclusion give this a try if you’re a fan of yakuza manhwas, but are tired of all the rape and heavy themes that come with it
