People are being so mean to the sister, it's very childish. Nothing wrong with a little crush and being overprotective of your brother. Feelings changed, especially after such a traumatic event.
But on another note, I think the last slide was Haruki's sister saying she didn't know shirayuki being there will make Haruki be distant with her, not the other way around.
