You remember how the dragons loved the Crimson Dragon King's soul so much? Apparently, it was to the point of obsession. They waited for his soul to come back to the heavens upon his death, but he never came back. The reason was because the Crimson Dragon King felt so bad about leaving Zeno behind to face immortality alone. He knew how painful that future is for Zeno. So, his soul never went back to heaven and waited for Yona's birth; his re-birth.
The dragons in heaven that were waiting for his soul were pretty pissed about that. Now, they're forcefully taking the Crimson Dragon King's soul (and effectively, Yona) back to the heavens.

If I'm honest: I still dont understand a few things. Can you help me understand why Zeno is the only one condemned to forever stay on earth? And those Dragon Souls in Heaven aren't the other dragons right?
I'm sorry I'm asking these dumb questions! I actually reread the earlier chapters but maybe I'm just so out of because of the sudden turn of events?
Zeno became immortal when he took on the role as the Yellow Dragon. And in order to go to heaven, one must die, correct? That's why he can't go. And apparently, the heavenly dragons despise him since he tried to hurt Yona in the previous chapters. The heavenly dragons don't really care about the humans who became their representatives on earth. They ONLY care about the Crimson King's soul.
And yes, the heavenly dragons are different from other dragons that Yona has come to love and cherish.
Think of it as the heavenly dragons being the original dragons and the dragons on earth as mere proxies to them

I love this series to death, i started reading Yona in 2018 and I will continue praising this manga ... but I'm also lost and don't get what's happening in this arc rn. Can someone explain? I get why Zeno wants to end it all but what is actually happening right now and why?
