His mind, recalling what Sangwoo had said (about if he dies first, then Bum must also die, and to keep trying even if he fail) manifests Sangwoo into his own personal grim reaper, which leads him to his inevitable death. Perhaps that explains why Seungbae and officer Lee were yelling on the phone, perhaps having just discovered that Bum was hit by a car and killed. Damn, son.
The fact that this is one of the very first manhwa I've read is really shocking. It's the third time I've reread it, and every time I notice new toxic aspects between the characters. In addition, I have always had this particular theory about the ending when Bum chases the illusion of Sangwoo crossing the street with a woman and the red light appears. In my opinion it indicates that Bum is being run over by a car or something like that. Btw im Never going to recover from this shjt :D
