me when im in a having no reading comprehension competition and my opponent is a mangago user
in all seriousness though i agree. i remember the other day in a police undercover bl, one of the mcs lied to the person theyre investigating about whether or not they like anyone or smth to that effect. lo and behold ppl in the comment sections were like "how dare he deceive the mc ill never forgive him >:C". u guys... he's undercover... its obviously a lie to protect the mc & the whole undercover operation. pls gain media litearcy i swear to god, even just understanding some context clues i beg.

do people in some manhwa/manga/manhua forums just completely forgets to have reading comprehension? especially during spinoffs of a side character because how are we going to misunderstand an entire timeline of a story without even trying to understand it first...? not just the timeline but also contexts about the current arc/seasin.
I legit argued with two people under alpha trauma that the timeline took place 5 years after omega complex and that the main couple was already "married/engaged" which is entirely false so i corrected them saying that actually, they're still dating only for 2 years there since alpha trauma took place after the character's release from the military (which korean military service takes 1 and a half years only) but they still argued that the main couple was engaged at the end of the story and moved in which is also false because that's actually a couple ring... and the main couple got engaged after a year of the second couple got together.
there's many more but i don't want to rant about it, it's just an example so like back to my main question:
Do some readers really disregard getting a fact check before telling other readers who possibly did not read the first story or novel and started stating wrong timeline, wrong context, wrong whatsoever? especially when they don't even like getting corrected and forcing their "point" to be true. I really got passive aggressive with many people here because of how factually wrong they are. there's a difference between an opinion and straight up misinformation... sooo do people in some manhwa/manga/manhua forums just completely forgets to have reading comprehension?
