A mature mind can grasp the concept that humans are fallible, we make mistakes constantly. Assumptions, misunderstandings, screw ups, are all part of growing as a person. Having the strength to forgive others as you would wish to be forgiven if you made a grave error is also a sign of a mature mind. You're not wrong, you're just rare.
