I couldn't agree more! The fish time I read this I was so angry. I couldn't believe they tried to give her character a redemption arc. I honestly couldn't care less about her.
I decided to reread it with a more open-mind this time in case I was too harsh on her. (I was pretty young when I read it before) NOPE! Hate her even more this time around. The audacity annoyed me to my core. She's trying to be homewrecker while acting sweet to the MC and she has a horrendous sense of entitlement. What a bitch! I tried to see her as a more neuanched character this time around but couldn't do it (maybe my hatred for her was so strong it's still lingering )
Reread this really makes me hate ryo with a burning passion. The audacity she had to break in to the mc’s house, rob him, threaten to rip apart something precious to him, and break up his relationship all for her own selfishness is crazy. And most of all, she made the sweetest girl cry?! Idgaf if the author tried to give her a sappy redemption, she can go cry about her unrequited love forever lmfaooo.
