Anime suggestions for people who've never seen any?

sonata3775 April 12, 2017 9:16 pm

Hey guys! I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for starter animes? I'm trying to persuade people that they should try anime, but I'm not sure which ones to recommend because there's so many good ones! Plus I have select genres that I only like so I can't really expand on possible genres that other people like. For example, I don't know any sci-fi animes on the top of my head! Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

What are their preferences? For example, what movies they like to watch?
If someone likes action, I wouldn´t recommend them a romance anime XD

1- Ao no exorcist > it's so good as a short anime.. and don't forget to tell 'em about the fillers
2- owari no seraph > I'm in deeeep looove with this anime
3- D grey man , even tho it's long anime
    4- erased
    5- black bullet
Really there's many good anime I can't remember them all
    Oohh right and
6- Attack on titan > it's the best of them all , they really have to start with it

    - Death Note or Monster (for people who are into thriller, crime, mystery)
    - Samurai Champloo (it´s much fun and the fighting is nice)
    - Full Metal Panic (it´s also much fun and mecha fighting)
    - Natsume Yuujinchou (for people who are more into calm anime, slice of life and mystery)
    - Seirei no Moribito (it´s more adventure and it´s really thrilling)
    - Jigoku Shoujo (drama, horror)
    - Hellsing (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

But it would be good to know the likes and dislikes of the people, how old they are, what they think about anime.

Hmm if the people you want to persuade are like, your parents or something around that age, then I'd say MushiShi ^^ (younger people with no otaku culture would probably be lost)
And for 15 and older, Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop (starting with Cowboy Bebop) And maybe Monster?
Under 15 basically anything the others said works (and I second their choices)

btw the ages are not "strict limits" or anything ;) It's just that showing MushiShi to a kid that's a fan of Sponge Bob would be useless XD
