No his hands and feet have always been like that...but the artists misses it here and there throughout the series, sometimes he hand demon nails on both his hands and feet and sometimes he is only half, like his breed half human and half demon.
The OP is right. That’s why Jae Shin’s nails are cut on one hand. It was a plot point in the earlier chapters, if I’m not mistaken.
Maybe it's they way Nik said he cut his nails. What l'm saying is Jaeshin never cut them. I think it was a error the artists made from time to time, because he depicts Jaeshin with both, long nails on one hand and short nails like a human on the other hand.

Yeah, he cut it after Nok said it was hurt in the earlier chapter, he never admitted it even after being confront by his brothers but it's something that the readers need to figure out themselves
No he actually did cut his nails, I remember that scene, it was after he made his proposal to nok telling him he has 3 days to think about spending intimate times together every 3 days, because they both needed each other to balance their needs, nok to be safe from the ghosts and jae shin to feed on his energy, and after 3 days when he was headed to nok, he filed his nails across the wall, to cut them. Since nok mentioned that his nails hurt him. So bro cut them :)
I'm gonna have to go back to those chapters and revisit the art because I feel otherwise even though you all seem to be of the same opinion.
Susan's right. Jaeshin trimmed them against the wall when he went to hear Nok's decision about the deal. Ch 22 ;)
