I thought that was really weird too because his friend should have attacked him in his previous life as well. However, think about how his friend went missing before the battle. It might not make sense rn but if u read through it, at the end it all makes sense. It is a good read and does make sense in the end. Also if ur like me n hate the female lead, she honestly isn’t too bad and isn’t that important. In some parts she pissed me off but the actual story is def worth it. And mind u I HATE female interests in these types of stories
I just finished chapter 18 and I'm annoyed, this story could have been great and it isn't... First of all the pace of the story is way too fast. Second of all, it has a huge flaw, why did Leo attack his friend this time and not last time the MC lived through this events? I understand the changes the MC made are gonna have some effect, but it doesn't make sense for his friend to be bad and try to kill him this time when they just got to the school??? Also I'm annoyed that they still haven't told us how they even became friends, why did Leo not question his friend more about his change of mind? It just doesn't make sense...
