From what I recall of the novel, it’s actually worse. There were a total of 13 souls summoned to play the role of “Edith”, because the author was afraid of letting the story continue past her main character’s “and the married and lived happily ever after”. In other words, the author kept resetting the story so that she could remain young, beautiful and loved, while a random stranger’s soul got forced to take the role of “Edith”.
In truth the Manhwa isn’t doing the story justice in terms of the characters real motives, goals and personalities. Not sure why I keep popping back, but I think after chapter 84, I’m calling quits, because they’ve missed the point of the dagger scene and are lining up to skip a (granted minor, but kind of important) story arc
So u mean to tell methat the author was so offended that the original Edith hated her story cause she was literally ABUSED that she goes “fuck u” and kills her off and every single one after ???? Is she fucking insane???? If I made a story like that and someone actually suffers from it I’d feel bad and apologize but cause that girl straight up told her “hey man ur story is shit it got me beaten tf up for no reason” she went “opinion denied” like girlie ur fucking crazy and deserve to die the hell do u think ur doing
