i would like to point out that fml’s ex was never forced to ask fml out… she legit was satisfied with being just friends and accepted the fact that they were gna drift apart after grad! he went out on his OWN volition to ask her out on a random day knowing she had feelings for him like hes a grown ass adult he knew what he was getting into LOL and idk even if fml became close to the family for “selfish” reasons its perfectly normal trying to help someone u saw literally almost die
