Granted this is a short story, so it was a bit compressed and brief. And though I liked it, and found it cute and interesting, it felt like the mangaka was actually starting much more than a single chapter story. Too much is just left unresolved by the end, like who IS the murderer. and Lenny's past. The first isn't even strictly necessary to the story (when Lenny runs away he gets stuck in town by other means) and the second could easily be told. No threads left dangling. Just too much for a short story to tie up by the end.
