Trust the novel reader lol hahaha but yes for now we can't defend both them. It's very realistic, and the story is really addicting. It has 6 books in total, we are just in the first book
I know there's no excuse for that. He's abusive, but he's also sick in the head. He's aware of that. Inseop's also aware of that. I guess he just likes the ML so much, it's kind of unhealthy. ML is also trying to be 'normal' for the MC as the story goes. I'm even surprised he's capable of adjusting for Inseop's sake. But yeah it's fiction. If this is real life, run peeps and don't look back lolol.

For me personally, i feel like the author wanted to deliver something like: We accept our partner flaws and let's protect each other. WooYeon knows that part of Inseob can't change (Inseob sacrifices himself for others) but still he wants to be with Inseob, accepting that part of him. And later he realizes the only person who won't take Inseob for granted is him, that's why WooYeon is a great pair for him.
Same like how Inseob accepted how crazy WooYeon is, but in Inseob's mind, the only person who can see the human in WooYeon is him. Inseob won't take him for granted.
Both probably are messed up in the heads but they want to work their relationship out. They chose each other. They compliment each other. While Inseob is not confident, WooYeon is a very confident person

The ML's craziness is to the roof but like, they complement each other (?) idk if you get what I mean. But ML totally down for the MC that he tones down his crazy actions, not so sure about his thoughts tho huehue
