Also they are really touchy feely friends at school (ie. feeding each other, sitting on each others lap) and their classmates joke about them being boyfriends. Eventually the mc realizes he loves him but the LI thinks he’s joking too during the confession scene

- MC is sitting on a park railing, the LI gets a text from the MC (either gets called over, or finds him at his usual park spot ).
- MC asks the LI (“I like you”/“how do you feel about me?”)
- LI brushes him off (“don’t ask me that”/“why would you ask me that”)
-MC’s monologue “Ik he doesn’t mean anything hurtful…but” doesn’t realize he started to tear up
-LI looks concerned and the MC runs away but the LI catches up and tells him his feelings
