You know what… I’m proud of Joo-ah, I feel like she learned something through this. People make mistakes, they have eras, but what defines a person is how they change afterward, if they learned something valuable, and Joo-ah has had her moments where I was definitely ROOTING for her downfall, but as a person, she’s definitely grown (unlike kyungmo COUGH COUGH who couldn’t see if he had two left feet). I’ve come to see that she was more a reflection of her fears and environment (idol criticism, etc.), but ultimately she never let it become her identity in the end (like kyungmo did COUGH COUGH you insecure blindsided asshole). She didn’t win the prize, but I think she got something even more valuable - the strength to confront yourself and start walking towards self love.
