There's no need to call her a dumbass, she's just insecure of her looks given how she's been treated, it's more than reasonable what she did. Actually I'd be more surprised if she told him how she really looks like
I knew the moment she didn’t describe her face that he was going to recover from his blindness. I’m not sure how or why it’ll happen, but my guess is that the MC will leave, and he’ll have to track her down somehow. He’ll probably find the sister based on the description she gave, only to either instantly realize it’s not her or figure it out later. The wild part is that nobody will bother correcting his description of her until much later—or maybe not at all. This is just my prediction, but it’s all based on that dumbass mc’s description of her sister.
