Oh I agreed so much, the story kinda wacked. I still can't care about any of the characters by the end of the story. It would be better if the story was how they 1st fall in love. The story treats the reader like we supposed to know already the characters background which we don't get much. There's no redeeming qualities for both of them too. They're so plain and I hope the author should use more inner monologue to emphasise the seriousness of their situations. The end feels so rushed too, it doesn't feel rewarding at all to read till the end. I've seen much better story with the same concept like this

Rather than the focus being on development on the couple. It focuses on the drama and it’s effects on each of the characters. So essentially, the couple is already established in a sense, we are just shown glimpses of their meeting in high school. That both being good and bad. Good, I’m the sense that we get actually background and base information that is essential to understanding the characters and their relationship as a whole. Bad, I’m that their development as a couple is a bit lack-luster because it’s heavily glossed over to focus on the main and present conflict. As a result, I didn’t really care for any of the characters as much as I hoped I would. Im curious about other opinions, Would anyone agree or disagree?
