It might not be 100% full-blown shotacon but it does have its moments, I mean the authors' other work is literally shotacon too with a parent-child dynamic so it wouldn't be surprising, I think it's fine if you want to interpret this one as just a normal parent-child relationship but I also think it's fine for people to feel uncomfortable and feel like it has shota undertones because I can definitely understand where they're coming from, I don't think some of her reactions are that of a loving mother, plus the boyfriend remark and teasing that's not something an adult should say about a child
right!!! i dont understand why people are dismissing the intimate undertones between the characters when the author has made oneeshota stories before. its clear what the author was doing when they had suzu's sister teasing her and calling fuusuke her man
