Yeah that's what I was thinking too, for me it's the other way around bec I'm an extrovert who's quite shy and socially awkward...
Love being around ppl but can't talk with them, so I think chiaki might actually be more of an shy extrovert like me (the thought "imma make friends" is quite the sign for it)
'Loner' might be a better term?
This one is a cute basic BL plot. If there's one thing that threw me a little is using the term "introvert" to explain why Chiaki is shy and socially awkward. That's not really accurate. As an introvert, I enjoy solitude. It's how we recharge. I can socialize if I want to, but I'm not a fan of small talks.
In this manga, it may be a case of an introvert who's socially awkward. That can be a thing too.
IDK it's kinda hard to explain but I hope to see real representation of introverts in media. Hah. A wishful thinking, maybe.
