A tip for age gap reading experience: I'm pretty indifferent but as long as you know he's of legal age, then that's all you need to know, no need to stress if he's 18 or 20. You just turn off your brain after that, because the rest of the story is absolute gold. He's cute as heck in both forms and FL is actually a breath of fresh air. If you keep stressing over this much you'll potentially skip a good manga with a unique plot. Cheers!
Yea, I basically just shorten the age gap in my mind. For me, there's only a 5 year gap. Loving it that way, and keeping it like that. ^_^
Having read some spoilers i knew there'd be an age gap that didn't sit right w the majority, but him being 18 while she is almost in her 30 is such a turn off and a disappointment to the potential of his character.
Speaking as someone who will drop storties if they have age gaps, i was willing to accept this one if at least at least he was 21 or 22, best case scenario would be 24 or 25 but well
Like it made sense for his character (and there was some appeal) to be a younger, smart and aloof young guy w crazy charisma and flirtatious to be the ml, BUT he is barely legal
And if people wanna rebute this by saying if the genders were reversed, we wouldnt complain as much. Excuse me "WE", don't we us. I'd be as unsupportive in both cases.
I seem like such a hater but that is because it was big let down the reveal of his age. I was seriously liking the pace, characters and willing to look past my pet peeves but now i feel very conflicted
