They do but not after Dowon tries to break the bond between them by trying to imprint on another S-class. ML does his best to stop it and they ultimately keep the imprint between them buuuttt
ML is soooo freaking stupid! I understand, the whole reason he's distant from our MC is bc he's lost so many loved ones and he doesn't want to go through or have MC go through the same pain but COME ON either explain the situation or let MC go and stop torturing him!
Another spoiler is that when when ML gets his memories back he's jealous of his "other self" bc MC cherishes everything that had to do with "him". Such as the sticky notes that were left for MC. ML throws them away and MC has a mini-meltdown over it, flustering ML.
