webtoons are comics that are posted online, they do not have to be manhwas (which is a term for comics from korea). webtoon = webcomic

oh just googled it, turns out i'm wrong, it's not completely the same, webtoon is a online manhwa. it is the same as webcomic, it just means korean webcomic

    Thanks May 14, 2017 1:26 am

I dunno but I think manhwa is Korean manga and webtoon is comic/ full color.
Another difference that would be that manga usually has more details.
