yk how usually romance genre has the main leads and then the author would always include a side interest character for one of the main leads. Usually, when the main leads have a miscommunication or some sort of argument without one or both parties talking about how they feel, the author brings in the side character to seem interested in one of the main leads. whenever authors do this, it pisses me off because both sides of the main leads were wronged and it's usually nobody's fault.
