Interesting theory, but I don't think that's the direction the story is going... Though I wish it were. It would be more interesting if the kid was crazy and the best friend was supporting his delusions.
Though the shut-in best friend would be the more likely candidate for having delusions.
Hmm... idk but I find it weird how only the uke's harem has very interesting or supernatural features, unlike the rest of the background characters drawn. Reading through the raws (not that I understand Japanese), kinda make me think that my theory might have some footing?
hmm I have been thinking about this for a while, but could it be, other than the childhood friend, the rest of the harem are just a figment of the uke imagination?
