Does it really work?

You know sometimes in a manga a person gets sick and cannot drink water for some reason so her/his lover feeds them water by mouth.

Like taking the water in their own mouth, then pouring it into the other's with a kiss. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

I've been wondering if it can actually be done in real life...? What do you guys think? Anyone who has done it before?

Well, in CPR you can give them air so maybe? They might choke a bit though...

I thought the same thing at first but then thought of FRENCH KISSING........ Like seriously how can people suck, lick, roll and rub each other's tongues ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

It could theoretically be possible, but makes the risk of aspiration (stuff getting in the lungs) much higher, not to mention if the person is sick with anything viral, that's a great way to pass it on.

Don't know why they don't use a straw, or a water bottle with a squirt top ...

Ikr, that'd be easier. And swallowing is a reflex so even if you pour water in a sleeping person's mouth they can drink it unconsciously, but maybe you'd need to tilt the head a bit.
