In straight pornhwas? Yes it's common for them to be ugly because they are written by perverted men who just wanna goon to unrealistic women bodies with no plot.
Honestly a personal smut favourite of mine is "Temptress" there's no one certain male lead, just a female lead BUT the reoccurring men aren't ugly. (AT LEAST NOT ALL OF THEM)
You can usually spot when a straight pornhwa is written by a horny man based off how unrealistic the women look compared to the ugliest male lead to ever walk the manga earth vs when a woman writes them both the men and women are attractive and even if the woman has big boobs/butt they're not unrealistic propositions
Oh and written by men is just sex after sex with no real goal
Written by women, for example, temptress, it's just a woman fulfilling her sexual desires without being an inconvenience to anyone or even herself

This one was in recommendation under a bl manhwa I read so I thought of giving it a try but after reading the first chapter I gave up.I even skipped the whole manhwa and read the last few chaps to see if there was any character development AND THERE IS NONE. The only thing that changes is the male lead looks even more disgusting IDK if the author only learnt how to sexy women or what. BUT IF YOU ARE THINKING OF READING IT.
