no, not really. the ml will treat him a littleeee better but only because the mc is kind of broken due to everything that happened to him
hopefully, he'll get away even if it's only for a little while but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen. maybe he'll let the mc go after the mc finds out why the ml is targeting him but it actually looks like it's gonna end with stockholm syndrome and no happy end for the mc.
we'll see tho.
