I kinda feel that. I like AND make fun of this story a lot, but I agree that the people who constantly have a bone to pick with other readers and the author are such a mystery to me. I feel like half of them are trying to convince themselves that they're reading this manhwa 'ethically' and feel bad for liking it, and the other half are engaging in some kind of self-harm by forcing themselves through a story that's stuffed with every trigger imaginable. But I don't necessarily think all criticism is bad, per say. There's definitely a difference between someone saying "Omg that was so traumatic I didn't like that at all" and someone saying "THIS AUTHOR AND EVERYONE WHO READS THIS MANHWA SHOULD KTS". TBH mangago is kind of a cesspool but regardless of opinion it's fucking sad that people here will start calling each other slurs or sending rape threats to each other over porn.

We wanna know what happens to the characters, and where the story is leading. We’re not exactly screaming “AAAAAH I LOVE RAPE GIMME MORE.” People play horror games and read gore all the time, people read stories about people being murdered in explicit and detailed ways, does that mean they think it’s okay for that to be done to someone in any way shape or form? No. Should everyone who has read lolita be called a weirdo simply because they’ve read a book written from the perspective of a pedophile?
