I have been in the same mood lately. For comedy, some funny aanime shows I like are: Osomatsu-san, Doujin Work, Yuru Yuri, Sakamoto Desu Ga, and Watamote. Wish I had more to recommend but hopefully you enjoy those.

I've seen clannad and I don't think that a good example of funny animes (I cried really bad) adn people told me your lie in april is really sad too. I've seen already barakamon and handa-kun.. but I'll try to watch the other two animes
